Paying dues & renewals
Once your application is approved, you pay your membership dues to activate. Here is what it costs before you apply, so there are no surprises. Payments are handled securely by Yoco — ARS never sees your card details.

What membership costs
Dues are a single up-front payment covering the whole term you choose. Longer terms cost less per year.
- Student · 1 year — R100
- Student · 2 years — R180
- Student · 3 years — R250
- Professional · 1 year — R250
- Professional · 2 years — R450
- Professional · 3 years — R625
No one is turned away over cost
If these amounts are a barrier, apply for a Fellowship and the fee is waived. Access to the network should never come down to what you can afford.
The dues form is the final word
These are the current amounts in South African rand. The live price you will be charged is always the one shown on the dues form in your member hub.

Pick the term that suits you. The current fee is shown right there.

Pay securely with Yoco
You are taken to Yoco’s secure checkout, then straight back to ARS.

You are active
Your membership activates automatically once payment confirms.
Card details stay with Yoco
Checkout happens on Yoco’s secure, PCI-compliant page. ARS receives only a confirmation that payment succeeded — never your card number.
Invoices & receipts
Every payment appears in your hub with an invoice you can open and print. Your billing history stays there for your records.
Renewals
Membership runs for a set term. As it nears the end we remind you, and you can renew any time from your hub to keep your standing unbroken. If it lapses, you can restore it whenever you are ready — you will not lose your history.
