4th-year medical student, University of Cape Town
About
As a 4th-year medical student at the University of Cape Town, my journey is defined by a commitment to compassion-driven leadership and health systems innovation. Serving as the Deputy Chairperson of the Health Sciences Student Council and the CEO of Street Smartz, I have dedicated myself to building inclusive, community-centered systems that bridge the gap between academic excellence and meaningful advocacy. I thrive in high-pressure environments where problem-solving and ethical governance meet to improve student wellbeing and academic transformation. Beyond my clinical and leadership roles, I believe in the power of a multidisciplinary life. I am a lifelong learner who finds balance through the discipline of football, the precision of photography, and the creative expression of cooking. Whether it is through the lens of a camera or the structure of a constitutional committee, I am constantly exploring the intersections of art, people, and progress. I am driven by a simple goal: to combine medical expertise with strategic advocacy to serve those around me more effectively.
